Transportation YOU Tour: Lewis and Clark Viaduct

FreeTransportation YOU’s bridge tour event offers young women an opportunity to get up close and personal with an important project in the Kansas City metro—the Lewis and Clark Viaduct westbound bridge reconstruction, which will replace the westbound I-70 connection between Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri.
The project presents a unique opportunity to view the construction from the adjacent Riverfront Heritage Trail underneath the eastbound I-70 bridge with activities on land and over the Kansas River. Participants will hear about the project and speak with a variety of professionals involved in its planning, design and construction.
The tour will be led primarily by Kim Curry, the assistant project manager during the design phase, and Lanny Miller, the project manager for American Bridge.
