KC Area FIRST Tech Challenge Meet – KC Engineering Zone

FTC is designed for those who want to compete head to head, using a sports model. Teams of up to 10 students are responsible for designing, building, and programming their robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. This meet is hosted by FTC Team 10188 at the KC Engineering Zone.

New this year: FTC teams can participate in meets and qualify to compete at the Conference Qualifier on 2/18/17 at Metropolitan Community College – Business & Technology.  Each meet is $50 and teams are guaranteed two if they register by 9/30/16.  This meet is in the Northwest quadrant but is open to any team in Missouri or Kansas that registers. Meets will have 8 to 12 teams and take about four hours, with five matches per team.  The robot game will be played with official rules.  No judging or alliances will occur.
