The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. Anyone, anywhere can organize an Hour of Code event. One-hour tutorials are available in over 45 languages. No experience needed. Ages 4 to 104.

The ‘Hour of Code™’ is a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming.

As part of the Girls in Tech KC movement, KC STEM Alliance and partners will organize five Hour of Code events for girls from local schools. Each will happen at a local workplace where girls can meet real-world role models.

If you’d like to organize an Hour of Code for your classroom, school or youth organization, get the full details here.
