FIRST LEGO League Qualifier | Summit Lakes Middle School

In FIRST LEGO League, teams of students in grades 4-8 research a real-world engineering challenge, develop a solution and compete with LEGO-based robots of their own design. FIRST LEGO League Qualifying Tournaments lead into the Greater Kansas City Regional FLL Championship. Teams that finish in the top 25 percent in a Qualifying Tournament will advance to the regional championship.
Come enjoy the action as teams engage in table competition (and also participate in judging for core values, project and robot design). For more details visit this link for FLL participation rules.
For planning purposes, each qualifier loosely follows this schedule:

| 7:45 a.m. | Coach meeting |
| 8:30 a.m. | Judging begins (CLOSED to the public) |
| 8:30 a.m. | Practice rounds begin (Open to the public) |
| 11:45 a.m. | Opening Ceremony (Open to the public) |
| 12:45 p.m. | Official robot rounds begin (Open to the public) |
| 3:25 p.m. | Robot game ends |
| 4:10 p.m. | Closing ceremony (Open to the public) |
