Apply now: Missouri Junior Science & Humanities Symposium Scholarship
February 1, 2023
The Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) invites high school students conducting research in the STEM fields to compete for scholarships and recognition.
During the Missouri Regional JSHS this spring, students will present their original research efforts before a panel of judges and an audience of their peers. Opportunities for career exploration, research lab visits, peer discussions, and networking are planned.
The Missouri symposium will take place on March 3-4 as a hybrid event (in-person Friday and virtual Saturday) and is organized by Missouri 4-H with support from the MU College of Engineering.
The deadline to register as a participant (research must be completed and abstract written), an observer, or an educator/chaperone is February 1. Applicants will be notified of their approval by February 10. Educators and observers may register as soon as they would like. Details about location and agenda for registrants will follow at a later date.
