14 Nov What is the future of learning? Watch students find the answers
Born into a Digital Age where methods for gathering information are literally at their fingertips, this season’s FIRST® LEGO® League World Class Challenge allows students to unleash learning by redesigning how they want to learn.
WHO: More than 1,200 KC area students, ages 9-14, explore ways to gather knowledge and skills in the 21st century—through research and LEGO robots.
WHAT: Teams will participate in one-of-four KC FIRST LEGO League (FLL) qualifying tournaments in an attempt to advance to the Greater Kansas City FLL Championship at Union Station on Saturday, January 17, 2015.
OF SPECIAL INTEREST: Teams will build, test, and program an autonomous robot to solve a series of wisdom-gathering missions which include: pushing a lever to open a door to learning, moving an idea outside of the box, loading a model with knowledge and skill loops… and more.
