UMKC team places 6th nationally, 40th worldwide in IEEExtreme Programming Contest

Congratulations to Robert Holland and Varun Narisetty ( UMKC Team NPComplete2014) for finishing 6th nationally and 40th worldwide in the IEEExtreme programming contest held last weekend. There were 239 teams competing nationally, 1729 world-wide, in a 24-hour marathon programming contest hosted by the IEEE Computer Society. UMKC’s other team—Hoang Nguyen, An Nguyen, and Kevin ‘Yama’ Keyser—also did well, finishing 27th nationally and 271st worldwide.  (These results are based on the leader boards at the end of the event; audited official results will be released in early November.)

These are the best performances of any UMKC teams in this contest to date.
