Climate Action KC

Climate Action KC is a Missouri nonprofit corporation comprised of leaders from government, industry, nonprofits and the community who are dedicated to reducing emissions and promoting a thriving, climate resilient Kansas City metro region.

CAKC supports STEM experiences for KC metro-area students by encouraging their involvement in activities like:
• Taking specific actions to reduce their own carbon footprint
• Providing input on a regional climate action plan
• Developing and providing public outreach and education
• Planning and attending climate workshops and summits
• Helping develop equitable climate solutions
• Attending peaceful climate demonstrations and
• Learning about volunteer and internship opportunities with local community and environmental organizations.
