University of Kansas — Biotech Day

FreeRegister now for the 2024 Biotech Day, an annual event run by the Biological Sciences faculty at KU Edwards Campus, including Biotechnology and the Applied Biosciences programs. The event includes a Flash Science Fair, a plenary speaker, a science-in-film break, a Kahoot game, lunch, university student presentations, networking with students and faculty at KU, and the opportunity to sign up as a volunteer to work in the laboratory with KU science students.
What students will get from Biotech Day 2024:
- Hear Presentations from KU’s Biotech Seniors on their Capstone Projects
- Apply to work as a Research Apprentice with Biotech Seniors this Spring
- A Keynote Presentation by Intelligence Community Leaders on their Epidemiology work in the White House
- A Panel Discussion on Applying to Med School with Medical Students and the KU Med Admissions Director
