SciFun Camp: The Science of Autumn…and making bread! | OVERLAND PARK, KS

Autumn is a time of transition. The days are getting shorter and colder, and the leaves are changing colors. What is the science behind these changes? In this Museum at Prairiefire camp, students will explore the science behind the changes.

Participants will examine how and why leaves change colors by doing leaf paper chromatography. They will also learn about the habits of animals as they prepare for winter, make observations of plants in wetlands, learn about astronomical changes, different harvesting techniques, and even how to make bread!

Camp runs September 30th thru October 2nd from 8am-4pm 

This camp is geared towards elementary and middle school age learners.
