SciFun Camp: Candle Making | OVERLAND PARK, KS

$50With longer nights coming and the sun lower on the horizon as we head into winter, the days are getting a little darker. For hundreds of years, the only way to light a room was with a candle. While we don’t rely on them so much for this purpose now, candles are still found everywhere as gifts. It turns out they are easy to make, too!
In this Museum at Prairiefire camp, participants will learn to make candles from beeswax to take home! Set a candle on the coffee table in your living room, or make one as a gift for the holiday season. Either way, students will have learned a new skill! This camp geared towards elementary and middle school age learners.
