SciFun Camp: Science of Color

You’ve probably learned about the colors that make up a rainbow, but do you know how those colors appear in the first place? In this Museum at Prairiefire camp, elementary and middle school students will answer this question by replicating one of the most famous scientific experiments in history, performed by perhaps the most famous scientist in history.
Campers also can make their own color pigments from rocks, separate colors from candy, understand why some color combinations look better to our eyes than others, learn why different colors can put you in different moods and more!
Drop off is 8 to 8:20 a.m.; pick up 3:30 to 4 p.m.
