November 4, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Free

Geared for students in grades 7-12, this free series features STEM professionals sharing information about their careers and hot topics in science, technology, engineering and math, followed by a Q&A session.

This session is presented by Dr. Matt Gibson, Investigator, Stowers Institute for Medical Research:

Charles Darwin saw the process of embryological development as central to our understanding of the “endless forms most beautiful” found in nature.  But how does the intricate process of animal development itself evolve? Hear how animal embryos take shape, and how subtle modifications to fundamental cellular processes have profoundly influenced the history and diversity of life on earth.
