Science City’s Saturday STEM | Beauty + Brains Inspire Girls

FreeDuring Saturday STEM Seminars at Science City, STEM professionals present highlights about their careers and hot topics in STEM, followed by a Q&A session. The sessions, which take place at the Extreme Screen, are geared for students in grades 7-12.
This session shares one woman’s journey from sorority sister to Mrs. Missouri to Doctor of Physical Therapy. Come listen to Dr. Palacios share her journey through medical school where she earned her degree, and her journey on stage where she earned her crown. Now using her status to give back to her community, see what wonderful things can happen when dedication to inspiring others becomes your passion.
