Science City Saturday STEM Seminar: Adventures in Engineering

During Saturday STEM Seminars at Science City, STEM professionals present highlights about their careers and hot topics in STEM, followed by a Q&A session. The sessions, with take place at the Extreme Screen, are geared for students in grades 7-12.

Aerospace engineers are all around us, sometimes working in areas we may not expect them. This session will discuss the various fields of work an aerospace engineer could pursue, and follow one engineer in her work that took her all the way to the South Pole. Speaker: Emily Arnold, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Aerospace Engineering, University of Kansas.
