Saturday STEM Seminars: Madison Philipp — From Young Stargazer to Astrophysicist

November 11, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Free

During Science City’s Saturday STEM Seminars, local STEM professionals present hot topics in science, technology, engineering and math, as well as highlights of their education and career paths. A Q&A session follows. The seminars, geared toward students in grades 7-12, are open to the public. Registration is required, but walk-ups are welcome!

How did a 4th grader reading about constellations turn into a young adult researching binary star systems and working with NASA? Join Maddy to learn that the career paths for space sciences are wide-ranging, and the opportunities they afford are out of this world.
