Saturday STEM Seminar: Placenta – The Babyhood Bestie that Changed Your Life

During Science City’s Saturday STEM Seminars, local STEM professionals present hot topics in science, technology, engineering and math, as well as highlights of their education and career paths. A Q&A session follows. The seminars, geared toward students in grades 7-12, are open to the public. Registration is required, but walk-ups are welcome!

Hear about an exciting field in biology called Developmental Programming and learn how the first nine months of your life can shape your development, based on what types of molecules you’re exposed to through the placenta.
