Museum at Prairiefire JAM: Mini Aquaponics System

Junior Adventurers at the Museum (JAM) sessions engage elementary age students in fun, hands-on inquiry-based activities to familiarize students with STEM-essentials. JAM sessions take place on Tuesdays and Saturdays, twice each month. Pre-registration is recommended.

In this session, JAMmers will get a chance to put together their own mini aquaponics system that requires no soil, but supports the needs of both a plant and small creatures living in water.
