Linda Hall Library Livestream: Misinformation in the time of Covid 19 (Part 2)
April 23, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Misinformation, disinformation, and conspiracy theories surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have emerged on a scale rarely, if ever, seen before. Further compounding these issues are the sheer amount of information and the rapid pace at which it is delivered online and in other media. This two-part workshop will examine how and why misinformation occurs, what scientists are doing to address it, and steps we can take in our daily lives to support a more accurately informed community.
This event is free but please register to receive Zoom link. The event will also be streamed live on the Library’s Facebook page.
