FreeIn partnership with the Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy Science of Sport is offering a free STEM program teacher professional development workshop series. The Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy is a non-profit organization with the mission to empower Kansas City’s underserved youth ages 6-18 through baseball, softball, academic and social opportunities to be the leaders of tomorrow.
The workshop includes:

- More than 15 lessons aligned with Kansas and Missouri state standards for math, science, and physical education teachers
- STEM Career & Athlete webchats made available for student learning
- Online access to worksheets and resource links for our curriculum
- Professional Development credit certificate
- Lesson pre- and post-assessment quizzes for your class via Typeform
