October is the time to get ready for Halloween candy! For this month’s Museum at Prairiefire JAM session, staff will be conducting experiments with different types of candies and observing some of their unique properties.
Sugar is a main ingredient of candy and reacts with different solutions, such as water and different kinds of oils. To try out experiments with different candies, kids will rotate around four different stations. And yes, there will be treats!
