Geology Explorations Summer Day Camp

Become a field geologist for a day during this camp from the KU Natural History Museum! Learn about rocks, minerals and fossils while exploring the geology of Kansas with hands-on activities in the museum classroom and place-based learning at a local geological site off-campus. Note: off campus field camp. Participants should be comfortable outside in a field environment (e.g., off trail in prairie, mud and water with ticks, insects, and other wildlife). Participants must be able to hike on paved surfaces and uneven terrain.
