Geology Explorations Summer Day Camp

Geology Explorations logoBecome a field geologist for a day during this camp from the KU Natural History Museum! Learn about rocks, minerals and fossils while exploring the geology of Kansas with hands-on activities in the museum classroom and place-based learning at a local geological site off-campus. Note: off campus field camp. Participants should be comfortable outside in a field environment (e.g., off trail in prairie, mud and water with ticks, insects, and other wildlife). Participants must be able to hike on paved surfaces and uneven terrain.

Camp registration for ages 8 to 11 opens March 1 and closes May 20. Call 785-864-4173 to register for camp or send registration forms (available online) to:
