Geeks for Kids Prep Party

Over the last three years, Geeks for Kids has built 31 custom, electric cars for kids with movement disabilities. Bringing together professional and student engineers and programmers to design and build the cars, Geeks for Kids empowers kids with movement disabilities to get out and explore their world on their own.

At this event, participants will lay the groundwork that will allow Geeks for Kids to assemble the cars quickly at the final build event. Gather and organize needed supplies and create the low-tech components that will become part of each car. No tech skills are necessary for many tasks (although Geek for Kids can always put great techs to work).
