Future Goals Virtual Science Fair

Looking for an activity to gear up for winter break? The NHL & NHLPA invite you to participate in the Future Goals: Virtual Science Fair Presented by SAP—an opportunity for students to showcase their STEM skills, take home an NHL STEM-At-Home Prize Pack and influence the future of hockey!

The Future Goals: Hockey Scholar program brings science, math & engineering concepts to life. Through immersive simulations, each module enables students to explore real-life applications of fundamental STEM concepts while also introducing them to STEM careers.

How It Works:
Students in 4th-8th grades will participate in just three  steps:

1.Get started on the Future Goals: Hockey Scholar digital resource.

2. Redesign one element of a professional-level hockey arena to make it more environmentally sustainable. Areas of focus include facility components, arena operations or a fan activity within the arena.

3. Submit your project no later than January 31, 2021.
