FIRST LEGO League Greater Kansas City Regional Championship
January 18 @ 11:45 am - 5:30 pm
FreeCurious about ways to engage your child in STEM? Come check out FIRST LEGO League Challenge in action as students from 40 teams compete in the Greater Kansas City Regional Championship! Friendly competition is at the heart of FLL Challenge, as teams of students in grades 4-8 engage in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering—building and programming a LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime robot that navigates the missions of a robot game. They also participate in a research project to identify and solve a relevant real-world problem.
Come meet the teams, learn about their projects and watch the excitement as they put their robots to the test! The opening ceremony and team celebration begins at 11:45 a.m., with robot matches starting at approximately 12:30 p.m. Closing ceremonies and awards will take place at approximately 4:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
