$189The world of the future belongs to…robots! Johnson County Community College offers this cutting-edge summer youth class where participants will learn the fundamentals of motorized mechanisms, design principles, sensors, and sound activation. Students will separate fact from fantasy by designing and building prototypes of task-oriented robots. They will also learn problem-solving skills to improve how robots function in a series of design challenges.
Program runs from 8 a.m. to noon, June 7 to June 10. Geared toward grades 6-9.
