CIGRE Women in Energy (WiE): Power Your World

FreeMiddle school girls (grades 6-8) are invited to join women from the power and energy industry to learn how you can design solutions to power our world. Women STEM professionals from across the U.S. will share how we power our communities, discuss their education and career journeys, and lead a renewable energy activity.

Pizza and drinks provided.
Parents can drop off their students or stay with them throughout the event.
CIGRE is a global community for the collaborative development and sharing of power system expertise. The annual U.S. conference is hosted in Kansas City Oct. 9-12. The CIGRE Women in Energy (WiE) group is collaborating with Burns & McDonnell to introduce girls to careers in the power and energy industry.
