June 15, 2020 @ 8:00 am - August 10, 2020 @ 5:00 pm
Are you interested in exploring the exciting fields of applied architectural or mechanical engineering CADD? This 3D modeling and design course, offered through UCM’s Design & Drafting Technology/CADD program, provides students with opportunities to learn and practice the technical and creative skills needed to succeed in job environments that include architects, engineers, designers, engineering technicians, and other professionals. In this course, students create 2D drawings and 3D models of objects, structures, and machines using the Autodesk Inventor and Revit 2020 software, and complete engaging activities to explore and discover their fields of interest. High school students who have used these programs in their Project Lead The Way courses can also learn more advanced CAD skills. This is a self-paced course available on Blackboard from June 15th to Aug.10th.
