Linda Hall Library Livestream | Survival by Degrees: 389 Bird Species on the Brink
April 16, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeTwo-thirds of North American bird species are at risk from climate change. The good news? Science shows how if we take action now, we can make a positive impact to protect them. The National Audubon Society captured 140 million observations recorded by birders and scientists to describe where 604 North American bird species live today. This presentation will discuss the Audubon Society’s latest report as well as climate models that project how each species’ range will shift with climate change.
This event is free but please register to receive Zoom link; the event will also stream live on Library’s Facebook page.
