Kansas City, Mo. Project Lead The Way (PLTW), the nation’s leading non-profit provider of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum and professional development to middle and high schools, announced earlier this year that approximately 50 teachers nationwide, including 18 teachers and schools from the Greater Kansas City region, are participating in the curriculum development of a new PLTW course, Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSE). The course will be piloted this fall at select participating schools. The course will be available to all PLTW schools in the 2014-2015 school year.
