Explore STEM energy careers with KCP&L’s Exploring Post for high school students

This Fall KCP&L is launching Exploring Post, an initiative designed for high school students, boys and girls, who wish to explore future careers as they progress through their educational pathways and determine what they want to be when they grow up. This Post is for students who want to know more about a variety of careers associated with Energy.

Exploring Post is targeted to high school students ages 14-20 and will kick off on Thursday, September 18, 2014 with an open house at KCP&L for students and parents.

Participants will discover how to prepare for a well-paying, rewarding career that benefit millions of people everyday. Students will meet each month for an informative presentation by a guest speaker and a hands-on activity.

To register, visit exploringkc.org/registration.

A signature from your parent or legal guardian is required on the application.

Yearly dues for the Exploring Post is $32. Make checks payable to KCP&L.

Signed applications, along with the $32 registration fee, must be submitted by October 18, 2014.
