
STEM Summer Camp

At Summer STEM Camp, young learners will delve into the fascinating world of 3D modeling and printing. Throughout the camp, participants will explore various topics, including the workings of 3D printers, types of 3D printers, prototyping, iteration, computer-aided design (CAD), converting 2D designs into 3D, slicing, G-code, infill, modifying and adding supports, and post-processing. In addition, campers will acquire coding and engineering abilities using Raspberry Pi devices. They will learn about design thinking, problem-solving techniques, sequencing, algorithms, control flow, functions, loops, conditionals, and variables. Prior experience in these areas is not required. This engaging camp is designed for students who will be entering 7th and 8th grades!
