|Recurring Event (See all)
This two-part class meets Feb 29 and Mar 10

In this two-part class at Museum at Prairiefire, participants will design their own Mars landing vehicle for an egg using provided materials.

In Part 1 of this engineering project, students think about the best way to protect an egg as it lands on Earth and then design a landing vehicle using the available material. In Part 2, students use their designs to build and test their landing vehicle.

JAM Sessions are intended for children aged 6-10. Tickets are free for MAP members and $10.00 for general admission.

This two-part class will be offered twice. The first session is 4:15-5 p.m. February 25 and March 10, and the second session is 10:15-11 a.m. February 29 and March 14.
