03 Feb Dr. Rutherford Named VFW Teacher of the Year
Dr. Paul Rutherford, engineering instructor at Summit Technology Academy, was named the Lee’s Summit Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Citizenship Teacher of the Year at a January ceremony. The award recognizes teachers who promote citizenship education topics. Winners at the local level advance to the state competition.
