Speaker series brings Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala to KC in July

Bishop-McCann’s Chat Series returns to Kansas City on July 19 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts with a focus on worldwide education and the importance of STEM education locally.

Global advocate for girls’ education and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai, along with her father Ziauddin Yousafzai, will speak to the continuing worldwide fight for education for all.

Tickets are on sale at www.chatseries.com and through the Kauffman Center box office.

This CHAT will be a great way to shine a light on the need for inclusivity in STEM while illustrating the power of education in achieving that goal. KC STEM Alliance looks forward to having Malala’s inspiring story be a part of the ongoing STEM discussion in Kansas City.
