Kids don’t let barriers such as the rules of science block their creative genius. Once they understand a problem, they seek a solution.

Twelve six-graders (six boys and six girls) at the Afrikan-Centered Education Collegium Campus in Kansas City, Missouri, identified a problem: how to keep food sanitary in a school lunch box.
