Mad Science Presents Sonic Sounds | Mid-Continent Public Library

Discover sound waves, learn about vibration and see the Mad Science VoiceBox that can alter a voice instantaneously during this virtual program from the Mid-Continent Public Library. To experiment along with the Mad Scientist, the At Home Activity Supply List for this program includes a large metal kitchen spoon OR a metal coat hanger; two pieces of cotton string—one 30 inches long and one 12 inches long; a pencil; a paper cup; a paper clip; water in a bowl; paper towels.

Program registration will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Participants will be emailed a Zoom access code 15 minutes before the start of the program, so please include your email in the registration.

Note: You must sign into the room prior to the start of the program. Admittance to the classroom will close five minutes after the program’s start time. Space is limited.
