20 Jan LEGO League tournament held at Union Station
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City’s first LEGO League World Class Challenge was held Saturday at Union Station.
Fifty metro area teams used the building blocks to solve problems, like how to get rid of old electronic devices.
The fourth- to eighth-grade students created robots which had to carry out some pretty complicated tasks.
The winning team – The Brick Ops, a community team from Overland Park, Kan. – can move on to a national tournament in Arkansas or one at Disney World.
